著者について

Carol Kendall (1917–2012) was born in in Bucyrus, Ohio, and lived much of her life there. She was the author of more than half a dozen much-loved novels for young readers, including The Gammage Cup, a Newbury Honor book, and its sequel, The Whisper of Glocken.

    I love this book, the story and how it's written. I bought two more books of Carol Kendall after reading this book.
    There is a cartoon made based on this book in the 80's ( it's just illustrations and narrated by Paul Honeyman). find it and watch it if you get a chance.
