    A glowing satellite that looks like a beach ball held up by what should have been invisible strings is circling the earth. It lands in the California High Desert. There a 30 foot giant searches for a diamond that just happens to be "The Star of India" hanging from Nancy Archer's (Allison Hayes) neck.

    Mean while back at the local bar we find her penniless husband, Harry Archer (William Hudson) in the arms of the local floozy (Yvette Vickers); they are planning the demise of his millionaire wife.

    I will not give a blow by blow rendition. Let's just say Harry made a slight miscalculation. Nancy may just have Harry all to herself.

    The effects may be cheesy but the effect is shocking.

    Wife be sure to have your husband watch this as you stand over him.

    We enjoy older movies and this one is a classic. If you're into older sy-fi stuff, this is a nice one.

    Amazing classic that is still as good today as it ever was.
    Nancy (Allison Hayes) comes across a spaceship and a giant alien while out driving but because of her troubled past and her drinking nobody believes her, while her husband Harry (William Hudson) and his mistress Honey (Yvette Vickers) are more concerned with getting rid of her and having her money for themselves, but her interaction with the alien changes everything.
    Allison Hayes is amazing and Yvette Vickers is stunningly beautiful.
    Forget the rubbish remake and stick to the original ☺

    Auf der gebrannten DVD befindet sich eine restaurierte Fassung des Kultfilms und als Extra gibt es nur einen Audiokommentar!
    Zuschaltbare Untertitel sind in englisch und französisch!

    Fazit: Sollte diese gebrannten DVDs wirklich von Warner autorisiert sein, so ist das fürs eigene Image schädigen, da Warner Brothers ein reicher Konzern ist und ein Teil ihrer Werke auf Rohlinge brennen, für viel zu hohe Preise!!

    Auch von Animal lWorld -1955 (Dokumentation) gibt es nur eine DVD-R!!!

    Ein Rohling hat gegenüber einer Werk-Gepressten DVD, CD oder Blu ray eine geringe Lebensdauer, das wissen wir doch alle!!!
